As for this episode , our overarching themes are psychic abilities and life lessons , and now it's time for our featured interview . Today I'll be speaking to June Edward , a platform psychic medium who passed to the other side when she was only 27 and returned to her current life and form

by choice . She has worked on missing person cases for the police and consulted with many well-known paranormal groups and authors . Today , I'm going to be talking to June about her background , when she first discovered her psychic abilities , and why she didn't leave her lying and cheating spouse early in her marriage . The latter , by the way , contains enough wisdom to make this interview a very worthwhile listen for all of you . Hi June , how are you today ?

This is going to be a great interview . Okay , let's get going . When we were discussing your background prior to this interview , you mentioned that in your much younger years you had experienced a relationship with a serial liar and cheater . Why don't you tell us a little bit about it ?

Oh yes , he was to the max . So you have to remember first of all that you planned the life that you have here and everything happens for a reason . And he was the love of my life at my time and he was my second real major relationship in life and fell madly head over heels in love with him . He was very different from anybody that I'd ever met before , very engaging , and we had three children together , which you know you couldn't have had those with anyone else . It's interesting because you're only supposed to see what you see when you see it . So I'll give you an example . He had been , he was , he's a narcissist , and he's a true narcissist , which is a mental illness . People think people are narcissistic because they take care of themselves first . This was not on that level . He is a true narcissist . He was literally leading a double life . He had more clothes at his girlfriend's house than he had in our home and I didn't even realize they were going out in bags . Had I known he had been cheating on me for almost three years , I would not have had my third child , and it was almost as soon as I'd had him . He was only a few weeks old when something just triggered that . I think he's cheating on me . So the universe literally puts a veil over you . You're not supposed to see things until you're supposed to see them . If I'd seen it any earlier , I would not have had my third child with him .

Yet as soon as my child was born , boom , something clicked . And you know I started looking through the phone records , because back then it was the old phone bag phone in a bag basically and it printed out every phone call for the record , for the phone bill . And he was a union organizer at the time and there were nursing homes on there . I'm like , oh , maybe he's organizing a nursing home . And when he came home , you know , I stayed up till almost 2 o'clock in the morning taking care of the kids , cleaned the house . I waited up for him and we walked in the door . I looked at him . I said you're cheating on me , aren't you ? And oh , whoever told you that they're lying ? He was running for political office at the time . They're just trying to cause problems . I'm like no one told me that . And then he just admitted the whole thing and laid it all out .

Did that confession end your marriage ? Right then .

It did not Because , again , the universe had a lot of things that it wanted to teach me . And you know he went on to tell me how terrible he treated the girlfriend , how he never took her out in public because he was afraid to be seen , and blah , blah , blah . So here I am feeling bad for the girl and I'm like , well , you know , with that bracelet come from that you got for Christmas . You told me the guys gave it to you . He goes , no , that was from her .

I'm like , okay , so Sunday morning was a political meeting day and he's on his way to the meeting and I called her on her phone and I said you know that I'm his wife and , um , you know , I know everything about it and I'm sure he's told you already . And you know , I just wanted to mail back to you the bracelet you gave him for Christmas , cause I'm sure it was very expensive . And uh , she's like what are you talking about ? She goes , what are you talking about ? He told me you're in a mental hospital . In fact , he comes here every Sunday morning . He'll be here any second , hang on . And she hands him the phone . Talk about timing .

Yeah , so this is after it was supposedly all over , and yeah , so here we go again . So we went to marriage counseling and this is why I don't believe in couples counseling . Every marriage counselor we went to either told me to get the heck out and run or accused me of having an affair . And if we went to a female , he was accusing her of taking my side . It was just horrendous . He was accusing her of taking my side . It was just horrendous .

So I spent maybe six months trying to put it all back together and he insisted it was over and he was committed to the relationship and committed to the children . And we went on vacation and blah , blah , blah and I came back and he started with me wanting to have a fourth child . And I'm like , oh , no , no , no , not this soon , no , no . And I just had a funny feeling he was still cheating on me and I also I'm not sure how I found out that she moved , but I knew that the girlfriend had moved and I was able to get the new address . So I was my best detective . I hired a babysitter to watch the kids , borrowed the babysitter's car and I went to take a ride over at lunchtime to see where the girlfriend had moved to , and as I'm pulling up in front of the house again , everything in life is timing right .

He comes walking out the front door , a guy from works pulling up beside me . He walked right in front of my car and didn't . He comes walking out the front door , a guy from works pulling up beside me . He walked right in front of my car and didn't even realize it was me until he got into the other car and the guy's like that's your wife . Yeah , actually I know how I got the address of where she moved to , because back then they had pagers moved to because back then they had pagers . And I went to the pager store and got a duplicate of the pager and told them that you know , he's out of town a lot and I need to get the phone calls if he doesn't get the phone calls . So I got a duplicate of the pagers . So when he got paged I got paged . That's how I got the new address .

Very interesting and clever , I might add . On another note , at the time that you caught your husband cheating , you hadn't fully released your psychic abilities . And then one day , many years later , you decided to meditate what happened

What happened Right ? So I was having , I was going through a second divorce and having a lot of trouble in my business and making decisions out of desperation instead of listening to my soul . And I went to a Reiki practitioner to relax and she recommended that I meditate . And I'm like there's just no way I can meditate . I've got too much going on in my life . I'm running five businesses at the time going through a divorce , taking care of my mom who's sick , and the first time I tried to meditate it was like they kicked the door into the other side and I couldn't shut it off .

And I'm working as a medical esthetician in my own business and the first client that comes in , I'm like , hmm , did your aunt just die ? And she's like , yeah , how'd you know that ? I'm like I have no idea how I know that . Like , did you just clean out her house ? She goes , yeah , we cleaned it out last weekend . I'm like , oh , like , did you happen to find one of those sock puppets ? It looks like a monkey that they made in the 50s . She's like , yeah , we found one in the attic . I'm like , oh , my God , and it just got crazier and crazier . I mean by the third person in my room . You know she was being followed in by her , her dead husband . She was a widow and he was in military uniform standing next to me the whole time . She didn't want to know anything , it was just I just couldn't shut it off . I had to go find people to train me to learn how to shut this off . Because I could , I would have gone crazy .

In our initial conversation you said that when you were a child , your abilities were squelched by your parents and other adults Not harshly , but they would say things like oh honey , that's just your imagination . So you took what they said to heart and turned off your psychic abilities as best as you could . You also said that we're all born with some degree of psychic abilities .

Yeah , it's like playing a piano . Some people sit down and just play chopsticks . Other people apply themselves a bit and can learn a couple of songs . Other people really want to train themselves and work at it and become concert pianists , and then I'm like your six-year-old prodigy that just

Understanding Your Intuitive Soul

sits down and plays Mozart . But everyone has the ability . It's the difference between so being . In this 3D world , in this body , we all have brains in our heads . Right , our brain is a massive computer , but our brain has a very specific job . Its job is to protect you . How does it do that ? It does it by creating fear . So most people make their decisions based on fear , and that's literally a crapshoot . Sometimes it works out , sometimes it doesn't work out , but you're always questioning yourself , aha .

You also related how important it is to trust your intuition or your gut feelings . Can you give us a couple of examples ?

Everyone has had something happen in their life that they just knew they were supposed to do something , Whether it was . They knew they were supposed to drive a different way to work . They knew they weren't supposed to take that trip . They knew they were supposed to marry someone , Whatever it was , they just knew .

Is that your intuitive self coming through ?

That is your soul , that knowing is your soul .

Interesting , which leads to this how can we use those intuitive feelings or soul to make sure we don't end up with jerks ?

You always have to learn how to get in touch with your soul . That's the biggest thing . When you get in touch with your soul , even if you think it's the wrong decision , it's not Okay , just like you can say , oh , I should have never married my first husband . That's not true . I listened to my soul , I knew he was the one for husband . That's not true . I listened to my soul , I knew he was the one for me , I knew I was supposed to marry him and I have three wonderful children because of it and I got quite the experience . So everything , everything happens for a reason . But you have to learn the lesson or you just keep repeating it . You know , if you , there's five lessons that we came here for our soul , to learn , to progress , and if you don't learn it , you keep repeating the lessons . So , for instance , the universe wants you to think you have choice . Okay , the only choice you really have is to delay those lessons .

So it's going to offer you door one , two and three . You take door one . You go through it . You get married . You have a couple of kids , you get divorced . You're in front of door one . Two you get married . You have a couple kids , you get divorced . You're in front of door one , two and three again .

What do most people do ? Creature the habit take door one again , get married , have a couple more kids , get divorced again back in front of door one , two , three . If you learn the lesson that you're supposed to be learning whether that's self-worth , communication and trust , whatever lesson you're supposed to be learning if you learned it that time , you're not taking door one anymore . You're going to change and take door two and door three , and so you're not going to end up with somebody like that again . You may still get married and have children , but you're not going to get divorced like we did the first two times for that reason , because you learned that lesson . So if you can understand what the lesson is and listen to your soul , then you won't keep repeating and marrying the same or dating the same jerk over and over .

You've mentioned energy quite a bit in all of your books and , by the way , we're going to be talking about that towards the end of this interview , but for now , how do you define energy ?

So everyone's walked into a wedding or birthday party and felt that high energy and how elated and wonderful . It is right .

Absolutely .

Everybody knows what it likes to feel in love . How high you are right .

Correct .

And then everybody's walked into a funeral or heard someone crying and sitting there , and that's low energy . You feel that . So that's what you have to start getting in touch with , feeling that difference in energy , and when you start understanding how energy works . We're all magnets , so you are always either attracting or repelling at any given time , and you're attracting the same people that are on the same energetic frequency as you . It's like a radio station . You can't get the radio station and unless you're on the right frequency , right , it's the same thing . So if you're on the right frequency , right , it's the same thing . So if you're not happy with the people that you're bringing into your life , you need to raise your vibration and then you'll start bringing people in that are on that same higher vibration . If you're going to be a Debbie Downer guess what ? That's low frequency , and you're going to keep bringing people in that are Debbie Downer .

You know , misery loves company , so I'm assuming that that is an acquired skill . That goes way beyond just making sure you're in a good mood or saying positive things .

Well , it's a process in life and it takes people sometimes their entire lifetime to get there right . only are you going to bring in exactly what you want in life . It's like you're putting your order into a menu I want six foot one , brown hair , blue eyes .

I put your order into a menu . I want six foot one , brown hair , blue eyes . I want him to be a lawyer . I want this . The universe will bring it , guaranteed . This is how it works . When you do the work , you get the reward . But you have to learn the five lessons as well , because if you're asking that and they're bringing it and you have no self-worth , they're not going to stay , are they ? If you don't have trust in communication and they don't know what you want and you don't trust them , and you don't trust that there's a plan , they're still going to leave .

Amen to that . I totally agree with you . Let's move on to your books . I want to talk about them .
